An exclusive and very Scandinavian design reflecting the thousands of hours spent perfecting the glass-blowing technique required to produce the effect. This distinctive classic from the late 1960s contributed to Iittala's international success. The patterns gradually change as the glass burns the surface of the wooden moulds. The series was originally exclusive to the then newly opened Finnair Helsinki-New York route and is still used in the First Class cabins of Finnair long haul flights.
