Today we celebrate Santa Lucia in Scandinavia. She's abviously a saint adopted form the catholics but we love her dearly up north too! Maybe Sweden is the home for the Scandinavian Santa Lucia feast, but all countries alike love to celebrate her. In Finland we have the tradition to choose a Lucia girl to represent her and she'll be dressed up in white gown with a red belt and of course she'll hold a candle crown in her head. This is an important celebration during the Advent and it's a great honour to be chosen as the Lucia girl as she's a symbol to bring light to the darkest time of the year.
